
Queenstar Akrong is an educator and college & career access advocate for underrepresented students. She most recently worked at The College Board leading racial equity initiatives and managing national outreach for a $25 million scholarship program. Additionally, she is the proud Founder & CEO of Adisa Advising, an online platform that helps families financially prepare for college and a FACTUALITY facilitator. Prior to her current roles, she worked in the Office of Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi as a CBC Emerging Leader.
In her spare time, you can find her inspiring young women to run for political office through the Running Start ElectHer program or running to catch a flight to a new travel destination. She holds a B.A in Political Science and International Affairs from Notre Dame of Maryland University and a Master’s in Education Entrepreneurship from the University of Pennsylvania.
Queenstar has served as a FACTUALITY facilitator, since 2016, and has successfully led facilitations with clients such as Johns Hopkins University, Constellation Brands, Google, Inc., and Under Armour - just to name a few.
