When the World Writes the Curriculum

Last week’s ICE raid in my neighborhood was horrifying. The flashing lights, excessive force, and incessant helicopter noise made the intimidation real in a way that I still feel in my body, over a week later. 

As I nervously gathered the rest of my Factuality supplies for next day facilitations, I realized something profound: the gap between simulation and reality is frighteningly small. Participants often ask how frequently I update the program. That night was a stark reminder that the updates are dictated by the facts and realities unfolding around us, not by personal choice. And, there has been no shortage of content as of late.
